Authorization to monatize apps with adds
Am I allowed to monatize an app, using advertisment, that uses, for example, Facebook's or Twitter's API? Im thinking about building an app that uses some of the features of those API's like reading posts and retrieving pictures.

Button got deleted after performing click action through accessibility in android
I have made an app to take photo using fingerprint and I am using accessibility service to do that. In whatsapp camera after performing the AccessibilityNodeInfo.performAction(click action), the button got deleted. See the screenshots
And because of that, I am not able to click it again, as the node itself got deleted. Anything I am missing here?
Google API woes
I am new (actually returning) to developing Android Apps. I was hoping to get some insight to a problem that I've been having.
The app I made calls the Google Calendar API and displays current appointment and next appointment, along with times and color. It all works fine. The problem I am having is this: when I pass it off to the person that asked for the app, he is met with an unusable app as it does not access his calendar
I set up a Google Calendar API with SHA1 credentials. If I make an APK for installation, will the app then just call the google cal of the user that is logged into the phone or tablet? I guess what I am asking is, how do I make this app so it is usable by other people and not just myself?
I know this is a super newbie question and probably not very well constructed but if anyone has any thoughts or advice, I would be eternally grateful.
Thanks for your help.
Should I program iOS apps using Xcode or Unity?
I just started programming in Xcode but realised that I could use Unity and potentially get my app to the Google play store as well. Are there advantages to sticking with Xcode? Please keep in mind I'm using a Mac.
Google Play Developer policy violation: Action Required
I recently received many mails from google for many of my apps.
The email content is:
Hi Developers ,
We reviewed your app, XXXXXXX, with package name XXXXXX, and noticed that it violates our developer terms.
REASON FOR WARNING: Violation of the Deceptive behavior policy
You must explain to users why you are requesting the ‘android.permission.BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN’ in your app. Apps must provide accurate disclosure of their functionality and should perform as reasonably expected by the user. Any changes to device settings must be made with the user's knowledge and consent and be easily reversible by the user.
All violations are tracked. Serious or repeated violations of any nature will result in the termination of your developer account, and investigation and possible termination of related Google accounts.
The Google Play Team
Is there any way to improve my app's chances of showing up in searches?
Is there any way to add tags or keywords to an app's information from the Google Play Console, so that my app shows up when a user searches for that tag/keyword in the Google Play Store?
Run code when application is installed
I need to know if it is possible to execute code when an application is installed. I've seen that there is a way to run when it starts only for the first time. But I need to run a code when it installs.
I have an application that we develop and we go to another store (IBM Store), when an application is downloaded from the Play Store creates an icon in the "desktop" of the phone. From the IBM Store this does not happen, I had to do it from the code
Intent shortcutIntent = new Intent(getApplicationContext(), MainActivity.class); shortcutIntent.addFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_NEW_TASK); shortcutIntent.addFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TOP); Intent addIntent = new Intent(); addIntent.putExtra(Intent.EXTRA_SHORTCUT_INTENT, shortcutIntent); addIntent.putExtra(Intent.EXTRA_SHORTCUT_NAME, "Movistar Click"); addIntent.setAction("com.android.launcher.action.UNINSTALL_SHORTCUT"); getApplicationContext().sendBroadcast(addIntent); addIntent.putExtra(Intent.EXTRA_SHORTCUT_ICON_RESOURCE, Intent.ShortcutIconResource.fromContext(getApplicationContext(), R.mipmap.icon)); addIntent.setAction("com.android.launcher.action.INSTALL_SHORTCUT"); getApplicationContext().sendBroadcast(addIntent);
However this code is executed when the application opens, not when it is installed.
Is there any way to run code when the application is installed?
How does AppStore attribution work
Note that I am not asking how to set up Adwords, I'm interested in how its attribution works.
Consider this workflow: An ad for a mobile app is shown on your mobile phone via Google search. Clicking on the ad takes you to the Apple AppStore. You purchase the app and run it. AdWords records a conversion that you can use to track your campaigns.
In order for this to work, Google requires you to add a little chunk of code to your app that calls home with some info. What I can't quite grok is how they are able to relate the ad click to the AppStore purchase. There has to be some sort of data passed around. How does this work? On the web, you'd do it with a cookie or some sort of query parameter.
Another workflow: You send a newsletter to people. They click a link in the newsletter that takes them to the Play Store ( or AppStore ). The user buys the app. How would you attribute the purchase to the newsletter?
Does anyone have any knowledge into how this works behind the scenes across multiple platforms and companies?
Windows Phone Banner and Intersticial
I'm Trying to develop a windows phone application 8.x. I want to create banner and intersticial ads.
I follow all microsoft advertising step and I create an AdControl and InterstitialAd https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/store/monetize/ads-in-apps
I use id from testing mode Microsoft Ids
My app show a white or black banner, but never show ads. Events who refresh banner is launching but no show any banner.
But if I use beta or production Id from dev center I receive a "No Ad Available".
Video ADS for the ROKU template videoplayer-channel.zip
Somebody connected the video to the template video-channel.zip? Tell me which direction to take.
This instruction(https://sdkdocs.roku.com/display/sdkdoc/Integrating+the+Roku+Advertising+Framework) does not work. Or an error or it does not start. Where to insert the code? Thank you.
