iOS: Passing gestures from one VC to the other
iOS 11, Swift.
I have UIPageController with few pages. Above that I presented 'ninja' VC modally. That 'ninja' VC has clear background(and as an option background will be visible in some cases), so, UIPageController is visible completely. Also, 'ninja' VC contains some logic, so, it should be above UIPageController.
Now, I need to scroll pages of UIPageController. And I need to present 'ninja' view by tap(i did that). How can I scroll pages of UIPageController when 'ninja' VC is above that with clear background?
I had expiriences in passing gestures, touches from top views to bottom ones. I am not sure that it will work here.

UITableview: Section header does not automatically adjusts the position on fullscreen tap
Happens only when compiled with Xcode9 and iOS 11 devices.
Section header does not automatically stick to the top leaving a space in the view through which content can be seen. (Screenshot included) Happens when tapped for full screen. But some times the header sticks to the top on the tap action
On scrolling up/down the header sticks to the top. (GIF included)
Correct me if I am wrong, the floating nature of section header is provided by UITableViewStyle set to plain.
tableView = UITableView() tableView.rowHeight = UITableViewAutomaticDimension tableView.estimatedRowHeight = 44 tableView.cellLayoutMarginsFollowReadableWidth = false tableView = UITableView(frame: self.view.frame, style: UITableViewStyle.plain) tableView.sectionHeaderHeight = 44 // tableView.estimatedSectionHeaderHeight = 0 tableView.register(UITableViewCell.self, forCellReuseIdentifier: "content") tableView.register(UITableViewHeaderFooterView.self, forHeaderFooterViewReuseIdentifier: "hContent") tableView.dataSource = self tableView.delegate = self
Tried to set the estimatedSectionHeaderHeight to 0 (Disable it) as suggested here. But it did not work.
We tried reloading the tableView data in our hideNavBar func as suggested here for the similar problem. But that would scroll us to some other content.
Tried the following as suggested by other answer in our hideNavBar function and again facing the same issue where we are scrolled to some distant content.
tableView.reloadData() tableView.layoutIfNeeded() tableView.beginUpdates() tableView.endUpdates()
Can you speed up Xcode's ‘folding’ animations in the code editor?
The title really says the entire question. I’m trying to find a way to speed up the “folding” animations when doing rename-refactoring.
While I don’t mind the animations themselves per se, I do tend to get frustrated that they take as long as they do, especially when doing multiple renames.
So... does anyone know of a preference or setting that would allow me to tweak/disable this feature?
Connect to Git hosted on VSTS on Mac using XCode
I am trying to connect to a Git repository hosted on VSTS from a Mac machine in Xcode 9. I tried cloning the project using Xcode but it gives me authentication failure error.
I don't get this problem in Windows. I have also tried creating a Personal Access Token in my VSTS account profile and used the secret key but that too doesn't work.
Am I missing on something? Please let me know if I can provide more details.
Somehow I can clone the project to my local using Visual Studio on Mac after generating Git credentials through VSTS. Strange that it does not work with the XCode.
