Bidirectional sharing between the MacBook Pro and Debian 8 not working
The bi-directional sharing between the MacBook Pro and Debian 8 in the VirtualBox not working. I set in the,
Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Shared Clipboard & Drag & Drop -> Bi-directional
However, at the time I right click on the Debian machine, I see the paste option is inactive. What else I need to check?

How can I debug Grafana in WebStorm?
So I've been working on upgrading one of our web services, Grafana. I've been chugging along just looking at the Chrome console for errors as I go, but it's become apparent that not having a proper debugger setup is a time sink.
I have a license for WebStorm and I'd prefer to use it but I'm not exactly sure how to setup a debugging session for this particular service, because the docs have me build a binary file that gets run,
./bin/grafana-server-- I'm not exactly sure how to set this up as a run configuration since I'm not really sure where the "entry" is for the service.
productbuild installer "Destination Select" step is skipped using domains
My package installer is using the domains feature in my distribution.xml
<domains enable_currentUserHome="true" enable_localSystem="true" enable_anywhere="false"/>
However, the "Destination Select" step is skipped in the installer, and goes straight to "Installation Type". You can navigate to the "Destination Select" tab from the "Installation Type" tab if you select the "Change Install Location" button. However, I would like the wizard to progress as normal.
Missing Files in Vagrant Synced Folder Path
My installation of vagrant is not seeing every file within the synced folder path.
From my Mac shell:
my-mac:seeds pivot$ ls -la BeltContentP*Seeds.php -rw-rw-r-- 1 pivot staff 3034 Dec 7 11:21 BeltContentPageSeeds.php -rw-rw-r-- 1 pivot staff 1627 Dec 6 16:54 BeltContentPostSeeds.php
From my Vagrant shell:
vagrant@homestead:~/Code/demo.larabelt/all/database/seeds$ ls -la BeltContentP*Seeds.php -rw-r--r-- 1 vagrant vagrant 1627 Dec 6 21:54 BeltContentPostSeeds.php
If I rename the missing file in my host system, it appears on my guest.
This issue appeared after upgrading my Mac OS to High Sierra 10.13.1. I had otherwise used this setup successfully for probably 2+ years.
I have since tried to upgrade the various related packages, as well as reinstalling various items, but it has not solved the issue so far. Downgrading my Mac OS to the previous version does not appear to be easy or straightforward.

unlink error.log from stdout
I am new to Linux and trying to understand some things. In my docker image I see that the error.log is linked to stdout.
ln -sfT /dev/stderr "/var/log/apache2/error.log"
What is the command to unlink this so the error.log is written again?
Full & complete uninstall QT Creator
How to uninstall QT Creator from Linux machine?
I have a corrupted install on a Debian Jessie machine. I have tried reinstalling, fixing, etc. and with no luck. I was advised to uninstall completely, grab the newest version and reinstall.
The problem is that I'm not sure how to do this and every time I try, QT keeps coming back with the same exact issues, I'm assuming because of some config files that are not getting deleted in the removal process.
qmake --versiongives me this output:
QMake version 3.0 Using Qt version 5.6.2 in /home/greg/anaconda2/lib
pkg-config --modversion QtCoregives me this output:
Package QtCore was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `QtCore.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'QtCore' found
The problem is that I've got several versions installed, in different folders and I want to completely start over with a fresh install of QT Creator. Version 5.10 was installed yesterday via the QT maintenence tool, but for some reason won't run. I just need to remove it and start over. QT 5.9.3 and 5.10 are installed at
/home/gregand you can see 5.6.2 is installed in my anaconda2 folder. Not sure how this happened. I'm still a newb so still learning.
How can I do a complete/full uninstall and removal of ALL QT creator files without deleting other QT files, such as KDE dependencies, etc., so that I can do a fresh install with new config settings????
