• How to run each integration test truly individually in Spring, or at the very least run all commandlinerunners before each test?

  I have a Spring Boot application and I'm using spring-boot-starter-test.

  I have a bunch of integration tests that insert data into the application using REST calls. I run these with @SpringBootTest(webEnvironment = SpringBootTest.WebEnvironment.RANDOM_PORT)

  After each test I end up with some data in my database. I want each test to be truly self-contained, but I haven't found a way of doing this. I tried putting @Rollback on each test, but since I am inserting data externally by REST calls this understandably doesn't work.

  So previously I resorted to deleting all data between tests, in a rather low-level way, just by executing a delete query (i.e. something like Query deleteProjects = entityManager.createQuery("DELETE FROM Project"); deleteProjects.executeUpdate();) for each entity after running a test.

  However, I recently added an admin user account that will be created in a CommandLineRunner. I found out this CommandLineRunner is also only ran once for all tests combined, so after the first test finishes and all data is deleted, I lose my admin role.

  What would be a good way to set this up? I realize starting the whole application takes some time so a complete new startup wouldn't be ideal. Some way to tell Spring to run the CommandLineRunner before each test would be good. I don't want to instantiate and run it myself, that would be quite hacky and I'm not sure how that would work in terms of transactions. I could exclude this admin user account from being deleted in the query but then I'm still hacking around the system.

  if i load html1.jsp direct from url then it work perfect. but when i load canvas div to html2.jsp using ajax call it display blank.

• Spring JAP to to "release" an Entity?

  Thanks for reading this in advance.

  I use Spring data JPA to query data from DB:

  UserProfile userProfile = userProfileRepository.findByCustomerID(id);

  After the data returned I want to change some value to some field:

  userProfile.setRemark("some remark");

  However, I notice that Spring will automatically update the database of this record which I don't want, as this field is just a temp value for some further processing.

  May I know how can I let Spring data JPA to kinda "ignore" or "drop" this entity from the managed pool? I found someone said to use:

  entityManager.clear();

  And tested it definitely will not update the database if this one is called. But I am not sure if this is the correct way to do so, does entityManager.clear(); will clear other managed entities as well?

  As you can see it has 9 dependencies. Since I used maven-assembly-plugin I expect that all dependencies will be packed inside the output jar (named PricingBatch.jar). However, when I run the output jar, it cannot run if I don't mention 3 of the 9 dependencies in the classpath.

  I got the jar file by mvn package. But when I run the jar file, the error occurs:

  java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: org/jooq/Table : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0    
  

  I learned that I could update my running JDK version to a higher one, or compile the jooq generated classes with a lower version. Here I have to choose the latter method. But the result didn't meet my expectation after I set the target of maven-compiler-plugin to 1.7. I am confused since I still get this error. So how can I achieve my goal?
• Executable JAR with testng giving "expected at least 1 bean which qualifies as autowire candidate for this dependency."

  Through maven command everything is fine and tests are running good. I am creating an executable jar which will except same arguments and run the testng tests.

  I am using assembly plugin to create the executable jar with my main method class.

• @RestControllerAdvice and @NotNull integration

  I was thinking if an integration between spring-mvc and javax.validation was possible. I have 2 questions here :

  1. Though @NotNull check is happening for @Pattern I get the exception as below (this issue is specific to javax and hibernate validators) :

  javax.validation.UnexpectedTypeException: HV000030: No validator could be found for constraint 'javax.validation.constraints.Pattern'

  though the module have both hibernate-validator and validation-api dependencies.

  i wanna ask how can i set a value of struts2 tag in javascript.

  I'm working in a struts 2 project and i use bootstrap for design. I have a many to one relation between two classes "Catalogue" and "Lignes".

  In the relative jsp page that permit to add a "Catalogue", i have a bootstrap dynamic table with java script for adding a dynamic row. In every row i should have a list of of an object,

• How can a java class locate and load a static pdf file in WebLogic 12c?

  I need to load a static PDF document, from a java class, running in my J2EE web app on WebLogic 12c; however although my code works in Tomcat, when trying to run it in WebLogic 12c (WebLogic Server Version: 12.2.1.2.0), I get a server error that the PDF file cannot be found (java.io.FileNotFoundException).

  I am using Apache's PDF library, PDFBox version 2.0.8 to load a fillable PDF file that I created, and then populate that fillable PDF with data. My code works fine in Tomcat, but fails to find the pdf file when deployed to WebLogic 12c .

  -This appears to be because when an EAR file is deployed to WebLogic 12c, the contents in the WAR file (all of the application code/files, including the fillable PDF file), remain archived up in a jar file that WebLogic creates, instead of exploded.

  My application utilizes the standard Maven application structure, so as is standard with all static files, I have put my PDF file in the directory for static resources:

  src/main/resources/

  In my pom.xml file, I have the following, which builds any pdf files in the /src/main/resources/ folder, into the class path root folder of the WAR file.

  in that directory is then this file: _wl_cls_gen.jar

  in that jar file is indeed my pdf file:myPdfFile.pdf

  -So why can't the classLoader find/load the pdf file?

  -does it have anything to do with the pdf file is actually in the archived _wl_cls_gen.jar file, and not exploded?

  -Any suggestions on how my java class can load a static pdf file in WebLogic 12c?

• Spring Rest Controller not working on weblogic 10.3 / Spring boot

  I deployed a spring boot rest application to weblogic 10.3 , but the rest resources are not reachable ... It always gives 404 though it was working fine on tomcat and on weblogic 12 ... I tried putting index.html page under webapp , it was reachable (i.e. application is running) but the REST resources are not

• Clustered Managed Servers are not coming up - Weblogic 12.2.1.3

  I have created a clustered domain using weblogic 12.2.1.3. The domain contains a Admin server, and 2 managedServer(under a cluster).

  Note : ManagedServers are in different VM's

  After installation i'm able to start admin and managedServer1, but managedServer2 is throwing the below exception.

  BEA-171529 -- Unable to download the initial replica of security data from the AdminServer. Verify that clock skew has not occurred between the servers in the domain. The underlying exception was java.io.IOException: Multiple failures to read VDE replica, network issues suspected BEA-090403 -- Authentication for user weblogic denied.

  BEA-000386 -- Server subsystem failed. Reason: A MultiException has 4 exceptions. They are: 1. weblogic.security.SecurityInitializationException: Authentication for user weblogic denied. 2. java.lang.IllegalStateException: Unable to perform operation: post construct on weblogic.security.SecurityService 3. java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: While attempting to resolve the dependencies of weblogic.nodemanager.adminserver.NodeManagerMonitorService errors were found 4. java.lang.IllegalStateException: Unable to perform operation: resolve on weblogic.nodemanager.adminserver.NodeManagerMonitorService
